What is Buttock Augmentation

This procedure uses liposuction to contour your back and thighs and in the process harvest fat for injection in the subcutaneous plane of your buttock. The result is an improved contour with added projection.

- Individuals with a positive outlook and realistic expectations
Anesthesia
Medications are administered for your comfort during the surgical procedures. This procedure is done under general anesthesia.
The incisions
Incisions are placed in the inguinal region in areas that are covered by the bikini line and in the inter or lower gluteal crease.
Liposuction and Fat Grafting
A solution of saline, local anesthetic, and epinephrine is infiltrated into the subcutaneous fat of the abdomen, sides, back and medial and lateral thigh region. Fat is liposuction with care not to exceed a negative pressure that will injure the harvested fat cells. The lipoaspirate is allowed to settle, separating the fat from the fluid portion of the aspirate in a sterile fashion. The fat is collected in sterile syringes for grafting. The fat is then grafted to the buttocks in to create an aesthetic result.
The Results
The results will be immediately visible. Swelling from the liposuction procedure will gradually resolve over a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, we ask you to limit pressure on the buttock as much as practical to maintain the desired volume. We will provide more details regarding how to recover successfully.
